One of the few non-terminal stations with coastal platforms atypical for Saint-Petersburg.
The design of the street pavilions (exits) of the station is unified with the stations Prospect Slavy and Begovaya.
In addition, it is one of two glass-pillared stations in Saint-Petersburg, along with the Avtovo station. The cylindrical columns are faced with two-color glass - blue and transparent. Column plinths are covered with stainless steel.
The station is divided in half by a wall between the tracks, decorated with large-scale octagonal openings and stained glass windows with views of the cities of Europe located on the Danube River.

There is also Passau and even Bucharest, although it lies 45 km north of the Danube on the Dambovitsa River, which is part of the Danube basin.
According to the project, there are 4 mosaic panels with pictures from the life of the Danube regions on the end and side walls at the escalator slopes. In fact, only one of 4 panels was made. The walls and floor of the station are faced with marble and polished granite, while the columns are covered with ceramic panels.
The station has a decorative undulating blue suspended ceiling with built-in ceiling lights. As conceived by the authors, such a design of the ceiling should resemble river foam floating on the waves of the river. Another group of lamps is located on both sides of the lobby behind the cornices.
The station walls and rectangular columns in the lobbies are decorated with light yellow marble. Plinths and floors are faced with three types of gray granite. In the walls of the station hall, there are benches made of white marble with oak seats, 10 pieces along each wall.
This is the first metro station in Saint-Petersburg, built using the "top-down" technology.
Since its opening, the station has had many problems with waterproofing due to cost savings, technology disruptions, difficult hydrogeological conditions and insufficiently developed construction technology. Elimination of leaks requires significant funds and cannot be carried out in the coming years.
